Viktoriya Zakrevskaya is a strategic communications and public affairs leader with over a decade of experience advising high-profile clients across sectors such as technology, commodity trading, gaming, and international politics.
A recognized thought leader in AI governance, Viktoriya served as Executive Manager for the University of St. Gallen’s flagship initiative “The First University of St. Gallen Grand Challenge: EU AI Act” where she oversaw stakeholder engagement and policy outreach; the project earned the prestigious 2024 Impact Award. She also contributes to Swiss-based expert groups including the Women in AI Governance (Zurich) and Women in Robotics, shaping practical frameworks for AI and robotics compliance.
She teaches part of the Master’s degree course “International Law and Business Strategy” at the University of St. Gallen, where she integrates academic theory with real-world policy experience.
Her career spans advisory roles with global firms, including Qorvis Communications (Washington D.C.), KREAB (Stokholm) and national trade associations such as the Ukrainian Gambling Council (Kyiv). She previously led research and public affairs projects involving diplomatic missions, intelligence-linked policy assessments, and international election observation.
A multilingual professional (English, Russian, Ukrainian, German), Viktoriya is a member of the Swiss Public Affairs Association (SPAG) and holds academic credentials from the University of St. Gallen, University of Zurich, Suissenégoce Academy in Switzerland, Aarhus University in Denmark and European Humanities University in Lithuania. She brings a sharp, cross-sectoral perspective to the challenges of innovation, governance, and strategic influence in high-stakes environments.
